BOTTOMLINE REBUILD TUTORIAL

STEP #1:
Remove the bottomline from the drop forward. You may not need to disconnect the air line depending on your configuration. It's up to you as to whether or not you can work with the hose still in place. If you have a push to connect line then simply detach it to ease your repairs.

STEP #2:
With the bottomline now detached from your weapon, please remove the On/Off Knob by unscrewing it counter-clockwise. (see figure 2.A)

Figure 2.A:

STEP #3:
Position the bottomline so that you can see into the same hole the On/Off Knob just came out of. (see figure 3.A)

Figure 3.A:

STEP #4:
Look into the hole and you'll see the pin carrier held into place by a 3/8-16 jam nut. You'll need to remove this screw with a 3/16th inch allen wrench.

Unscrew the hollow lock out of the front of the bottomline (where the knob was removed) counter-clockwise until it comes out. (See Figure 4.A and Figure 4.B)

Figure 4.B:

STEP #5:
Once it is removed you can use a smaller allen wrench or other non-sharp object to push the pin carrier out.
(See Figure 5.A)

Figure 5.A:

Push in from the large hole where you screw in your bottle. Push on a slight angle, you'll feel the pin carrier give way and it will fall out the front. (See Figure 5.B)

Figure 5.B:

Pay attention to the way the carrier comes out. It must go back in the same way it came out.

STEP #6:
Clean the carrier (small red piece) and replace the o-rings. Re-lube it with quality gun grease; Shocktech Gun Butta is always a good choice. (See Figure 6.A)

Figure 6.A:

STEP #7:
Clean the inside of the bottomline with a q-tip.

STEP #8:
Re-install the carrier with the black seal going in FIRST. (See Figure 8.A)

Figure 8.A:

STEP #9:
ReInstall the Lock Screw using the same allen wrench you used to remove it. Medium tension should hold it. (See Figure 9.A)

STEP #10:
Reinstall the On/Off Knob into the bottomline. Then reinstall the bottomline onto the drop. (See Figure 10.A)
